Knorr launches its newest line of gourmet tomato sauces. The launch is the result of an unprecedented partnership between Unilever and Cepêra, a company carefully chosen to be the official partner of the Knorr brand in the tomato sauce category in Brazil.
Through a brand licensing model, all production, distribution and sale of products will be carried out by Cepêra nationally. According to Luciana Guernieri, director of Customer Marketing and New Business at Unilever, the motivation behind this choice is the fact that Cepêra has been a reference in the Brazilian tomato sauce market for over 70 years.
“The company offers high quality products to its consumers and has sustainability commitments that coincide with the values of the Knorr brand, in addition to having the expertise in this market, being the ideal partner for our expansion in this category”, says Luciana.
The line is made up of the three favorite flavors on the Brazilian palate: Traditional Tomato Sauce, Tomato Sauce with Basil and Pizza Tomato Sauce; all of them gluten free and prepared with ingredients selected to bring superiority in flavor, high quality and practicality.
