Porto Alegre/RS – On the 11th of March, at 10:30 am, Praia de Belas Shopping will receive the second edition of 2023 of the Cinepsiquiatria project, in an event that will be part of the program alluding to the enterprise’s Women’s Day. On the occasion, the film “Between Women”, a drama directed by the Canadian Sarah Polley and big winner of the 33rd edition of TIFF, the Tromso International Film Festival, which ended on January 22nd, in northern Norway.
After the session, the traditional debate on the work will take place, with the participation of doctors and psychiatrists invited by the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry (ABP).
Officially released in Brazil this March, “Entre Mulheres” tells the story of a group of women who live in an isolated religious colony and struggle to reconcile their faith with a series of aggressions committed by the men of the colony.

Started in 2017, Cinepsychiatry aims to provide debates to demystify psychiatric treatment to the general public, addressing psychological aspects of the chosen films and their relationship with people’s daily lives.
