Located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the architecture project of the technology giant Huawei, was signed by STARQ.
A Huaweia Chinese multinational and global leader in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions, has offices in more than 170 countries and regions, in addition to different states in Brazil.
For this project, the architects took advantage of the building, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, to create spaces that could be used in the office. One of the highlights of the project is the privileged view that Huawei employees and customers have of Christ the Redeemer.
The office already had large collaborative and open areas, where natural lighting and beautiful landscapes were already enjoyed by all. Following curves that were inspired by ocean waves, spaces were created to hold meetings, where it is possible to share Huawei technology with customers.
In its materiality, the project mixes elements of warm tones (such as wood and vegetation) and cold tones (such as stones and metals). This solution makes the environment cozy, but without losing modernity.
The project follows the brand’s guidelines for colors, textures and furniture, but the architects were open to, in some places, creating differentiated and more “national” solutions. The biggest challenge for the Huawei office was to develop an original project following the strict guidelines of the customer manual.
In addition, it was important to bring interest to the internal area of the property, since the external view is very attractive.
