In Caxias do Sul, the Board of Food and Nutritional Security/ Food Bank of the Secretariat of Agricult
There are two full-time classes: the first was held on Monday (02/27) and the next one will be on the 07/03th, from 8 am to 5 pm. The venue is the Experimental Kitchen of the Food Bank.
The course is aimed at a specific audience, made up of ten people indicated by registered entities, such as users, volunteers, educators and food handlers from the institutions. According to the Food Security team, the objective is to train people in social vulnerability to generate income.
In the first class, the group learned how to make the basic shell of eggs, work with chocolate, spoon eggs and various types of fillings. It also received information on good practices in food handling.
In the next meeting, on Tuesday of next week, it will be the turn to learn how to make truffled eggs, truffled bars and basic truffles. The teacher is volunteer pastry chef Zeli da Silva Leme.
