The State University of Rio Grande do Sul (Uergs) opened 30 vacancies for admission to the Bachelor of Science and Food Technology course at the Unit in Caxias do Sul, via the Unified Selection System (Sisu). Registration takes place from February 16th to 24th and must be made directly on the Acesso Único portal of the Ministry of Education, using the 2022 National High School Examination (Enem) score.
Half of the vacancies are for candidates who are economically disadvantaged, black, brown and indigenous (according to the distribution of the population in the state). In addition, 10% of the vacancies are reserved for people with disabilities.
In all, the University opened 1370 vacancies for 19 courses in different regions of the state. The complete list of vacancies per course is available at uergs.edu.br/ingresso2023.
The publication of the result of the Content is scheduled for the 28th of February. Classes will start in the second half of 2023.

The Food Science and Technology course (bachelor’s degree) trains professionals who develop research and new products, processes and technologies, and who are able to manage guarantee systems and food quality control programs in the hygienic-sanitary aspects, physical-chemical, sensorial and nutritional.
