Considered one of the best private universities in the country, Unisinos has been putting into practice, since 2022, strategic restructuring actions. Based on the strategic plan for the period 2022-2025, the measures are aimed at a new development cycle for the institution. It is with this mission that Cristiano Richter assumes the post of Pro-Dean of Administration.
The professional highlights the involvement in his career in complex projects, especially focused on innovation and technological or cultural transformations. “The current challenges of higher education are profound, for several reasons, but I observe that they must be seen in the perspective of contributing to the growth and development of our region. I saw this in many places that prospered, especially because of the university’s contribution in training qualified staff, in addition to research and innovation, in line with market demands. This is the central role of the university”, he highlights.
Richter has held a leadership position at Unisinos during the expansion and development cycle of the last two quadrenniums. “Cristiano’s return comes at an important moment in the implementation of the Strategic Plan. In addition to budgetary balance, the most important thing is to strengthen engagement and qualify the bond of those who work and study with us. In this sense, Cristiano’s profile and experience have a lot to contribute”, highlights the rector of Unisinos, Father Sergio Mariucci
The executive’s trajectory at Unisinos began in 2008, as a teacher. In 2012, he took on a directorship.
