In Maués, in the interior of Amazonas, doctors Beatriz Almeida and Sofia Rodrigues Gonçalves were exonerated from the Hospital Raimunda Francisca Dineli da Silva after the release of a video in which they appear mocking the screams of a child who was waiting for care. The information is from G1.

The episode had repercussions in the city. The images were published by the doctors themselves, on social networks.
Beatriz and Sofia were recently hired to work at the hospital in Maués. In the video, the two appear at work, laughing as they hear a patient’s screams. In the recording, they ask who will provide the care and compare the patient’s situation with exorcism.
The city hall said, in a note, that it determined the immediate dismissal of the professionals. In the text, the public administration repudiated any unethical and inhuman posture.
