A partnership between the Municipality of Imbé, the NGO Eco Imbé and the artist Loko Artes – Plaquinhas de Jardim Arte, will install ecological awareness plaques in each of Imbé’s spas. A meeting held at the Municipal Administrative Center last Monday (06) aligned the final points.
Participating were the municipal secretary of Communication and Transparency, Leandro Luz, the executive secretary of the Mayor’s Office, Lino Moura, the coordinator of Eco Imbé, Cléverton da Silva and the artist Thiago Barbosa, from Loko Artes, resident in Capão da Canoa.
In the partnership, the signs should be at the entrance to the beaches. Made with recycled wood and painted with water-based paint to avoid polluting, each one will bear the name of the resort and a message of awareness of preservation of the environment.
Immediately, a plaque was received and fixed in the Administrative Center’s garden. According to Barbosa, the plates should be installed in the coming days.
“In 2020, the artist had already stopped by and brought a gift to Imbé: a small plaque that was installed in Praça da Fonte de Nossa Senhora Aparecida, in Balneário Mariluz, and which is still there today”, recalled the Eco Imbé coordinator.
