Morro Reuter has applications open for its 1st Municipal Mixed 4×4 Sand Volleyball Tournament. The event is organized by the City Hall through the Municipal Department of Sports and will take place on February 25th and 26th at Arena Zimmer (Rua Travessão, Centro).
To carry out each category, a minimum of five teams will be required. Two players of each suit are required on the court. To participate in the tournament, athletes need to have at least one bond with the municipality.
Interested parties can request registration form via WhatsApp (51) 99994-8797 with the director of the Municipal Department of Sports, Carlos Adiel Deuschle, or pick it up at the Municipal Department of Education, Culture and Sports (second floor of the library building, on Rua Anita Garibaldi). After completing the registration form, it must be delivered by the same WhatsApp or in person until 17:00 on the 22nd of February.

The tournament starts at 8 am on the 25th (Saturday) for the sub-16 category (born in 2007 or after) and on the 26th (Sunday), at 8 am for the free category. Each participant must take one kilo of animal feed (preferably for dogs) on the day of the competition.
The donation will be passed on to the group of Peludos de Morro Reuter volunteers. The prize will be trophies for the champions and medals up to fourth place. In case of rain, another date for the tournament may be analyzed.
