The Municipal Secretary of Tourism and Sports of Tramandaí, released the schedule of the Festa de Iemanjá 2023. The event had not been held for two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic. And now it promises to take many faithful to the Capital of Beaches in early February.
“This year we hope to break the attendance record, after 2 years without paying homage to the protector of fishermen. We have the participation of several houses of religion that in previous years did not come to the Capital of the Beaches”, highlights the Secretary of Tourism Rojoel Amaral.
The festivities take place on Wednesday, February 1st, from 9 pm on Avenida Beira Mar, in the center of Tramandaí. This Friday (28th) the Afro-Brazilian Rites Fair begins and consultations on letters and cowries. The fair also takes place on Avenida Beira-Mar – next to the Iemanjá monument -, and continues until Thursday (2).
