A animal cause was the agenda of a meeting this Friday afternoon, 20, at Mayor Diego Francisco’s office. The head of the municipal executive mobilized secretaries, people engaged in the animal cause and members of the legislature to set goals and carry out a projection of the investments that will be made in the year 2023.
In 2022 alone, more than half a million reais of public resources were invested in the castration program, purchase of feed, medicines to carry out barriers to control zoonoses, among other actions.
According to Mayor Diego Francisco, investments in this agenda will not be reduced. “Our management has always raised this flag and it will be no different this year. We will not have spending cuts in this area, we are even making a report detailing each real invested in recent years, precisely to allocate public money in the best possible way”, highlighted the mayor.
The meeting was attended by, in addition to representatives of the animal cause in the city, the Secretary of Security, Sport and Welfare, José Dresch, the Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat for Management and Governance, Gabriel da Silva Martins, the coordinator of the local Civil Defense, Kairo Campos , and councilors João Gabriel Dilkin, Jacob Imming, Lucas Argentino and Antônio Worst.
