The implementation of the Laboratory of Creativity and Innovation supported by the use of AI (Criar-Lab), at Pelotas Technological Park, begins this January an important phase for the development of educational activities.
From a parliamentary amendment by Senator Lasier Martins, directed to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the space receives the first devices for setting up the workshop recording studio and video production. Also in the first semester, R$200,000 in equipment will be received, making it one of the largest and most complete laboratories in the entire state.
The acquisition through Senator Lasier Martins’ parliamentary amendment will allow students, teachers and other education agents to develop activities in a media center open to the community. Among the equipment received in January are camera lenses and video monitors; video cutting table; digitizing table; headphones; sound table; microphones; noise isolating headphones and audio monitors.
Audio recorders are also part of the toolset; microphone system; tablets; 85, 65 and 50 inch televisions; TV stands; external hard drives; digital whiteboard and printers. By the time its implementation is completed, the expectation is that the laboratory will have 138 units of 62 filming, editing and lighting equipment, unprecedented in the region.
Implementation
Crie-Lab has a total investment of R$271,570.82 in parliamentary amendments and counterparts from the Municipality of Pelotas, in addition to having the support of partners to follow up on the project. The expectation is that, in full operation, the site will be able to receive 5,000 teachers and 80,000 students of basic and higher education, 165 primary schools, 44 startups, five institutions of higher education, among other interested ventures.
The 66m² space was officially inaugurated with the presence of partners during the celebrations of the six years of Pelotas Parque Tecnológico, in October 2022. children and care for the environment.
