The Porto Alegre Beach Volleyball Circuit 2023 starts on Saturday (21), on the courts of Parque Marinha do Brasil. The competition is promoted by the Municipal Secretariat for Sports, Leisure and Youth (Smelj) and aims to encourage the practice of beach volleyball, free of charge, in addition to providing social and sporting integration for participants.
Interested pairs must always register on the day of the games, between 1:00 pm and 1:45 pm, with the presence of at least one representative. The registration limit is 16 pairs per stage, being guaranteed in order of registration.
If the number of entries exceeds the limit, the following criteria will be used:
– The 12 best ranked pairs will have guaranteed registration;
– The other pairs will play in single elimination to define the remaining four pairs.
– The games will be played in a single set of 18 points, with a difference of two points, and the change of court will occur at each sum of eight points.

Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each stage and trophies to the six best placed by suit in the individual ranking.
