Last Thursday (12), the Chamber of Shopkeepers of Igrejinha e Três Coroas swore in its Board of Directors and Fiscal Council for the three-year period 2023/2025. In a ceremony held at Sociedade 10 de Novembro, with the presence of associates of the entity, representatives of various institutions and political authorities, the businesswoman from Três Coroas Natália Debarba assumed the presidency of the CDL of Igrejinha and Três Coroas. She succeeds businessman Vinício Morgenstern in the position and has Anderson Luis Ritter as vice-president.
To end his tenure, Vinicio presented a brief history of the actions carried out in the three years he was at the head of the CDL. He highlighted the challenge of the pandemic, which required a lot of articulation and new ways of working. In a very special way, he reported what has always been his main objective: member benefits.
“Our work has always been focused on the associate and for the associate, seeking advantages so that he understands why it is important to be part of the CDL. Every idea we had, we always debated ‘why is this going to be good for the member?’ and so we were able to continue some projects, improve or adapt what was necessary, and also create new things”, he pointed out. Among the main achievements, he highlighted the 2Cs Program, a free mentorship for CDL associate entrepreneurs, and Evoluir, a continuation of the 2Cs where businessmen meet to discuss business and exchange ideas, mutually helping each other.
Starting work as president of the entity, Natália highlighted the importance of continuity of work, as well as the union and joint action of the entire board. She spoke about the joy of being part of the CDL and the challenge of representing the more than 700 members.
“A president doesn’t do anything alone and that’s why it’s important to have these people on our board, both those who have been there longer and the new ones, where everyone has a voice and has a lot to contribute. I am sure that with the support of the board, together with the government, we will be able to accomplish a lot for the development of business and our region. We want to continue carrying out actions to benefit members, bringing news that add to them, in addition to continuing with the transparency and credibility that our CDL has”, he registers.
