There are more than 400 cities in the country with a network presence.
In the last year, 7 new stores were opened in São Paulo, 7 in Mato Grosso do Sul, 36 in Paraná, 10 in Santa Catarina and 4 in Rio Grande do Sul. The company’s strategy continues with expansion mainly in small and medium-sized cities, providing access to products that previously could only be found in home centers in large cities.
The opening of the unit in Nova Andradina (MS), in the third quarter, was a milestone for the chain that became the first retailer in the home & construction market with 500 stores in the country, showing not only its growth, but the various opportunities for the future, which go beyond the borders of the southern region of Brazil.
Peter Furukawa, CEO of Lojas Quero-Quero, celebrates the chain’s growth in the last year. “For me, it is a source of pride to have opened 64 new stores. Even with a more difficult and challenging macroeconomic scenario, we continue with our growth strategy designed over the last few years, adapting when necessary, and without losing focus on the long term”, he highlights.
“Our investment is based on the long term and the objective is to offer a complete home and construction solution to our customers, through strategies based on the company’s pillars. We still see many opportunities to open new stores in the South region and also in the states of MS and SP, which we entered in recent years”, says Furukawa.
