The Marching Band of Bento Gonçalves is accepting applications for new members. Currently, the group has around 25 members, and the minimum age is 12 years old and no prior musical knowledge is required.
The Marching Band was reactivated in 2022. Since then, it has participated in several events in the municipality, such as the Civic Parade on September 7, Natal Bento, among others.
According to maestro Alison Seben, “the Marching Band is one of the symbols of the municipality and its reactivation was essential for the culture. It is part of the affective memory and for 2023 we want to be more and more present in the life of the community”.
Culture Secretary Evandro Soares emphasizes that “the Marching Band is in full swing. We were very happy in 2022 to have this group that, with love for music and the municipality, expressed a legacy that was renewed. And we want more participants to join the Marching Band”.
