In the last week, the City Hall of Novo Hamburgo, through the Secretariats of Education (SMED) and Administration (SEMAD) published the call notice for 50 teachers approved in a public tender held in the second half of 2022.
With the result ratified on December 28, SMED tried to streamline the bureaucratic processes so that the call could take place in the first week of January. “In an articulated way between the secretariats, we try to speed up the calling of these professionals, aiming that they are available to schools at the beginning of the school year”, explains the Secretary of Education, Maristela Guasselli. New calls will be made in the coming days.
The interest of Education professionals, including those from other cities, in working in the Municipal Education Network can be accompanied by the significant number of participants in the contest.
In all, there were more than 3,100 candidates for the position of Teacher of Basic Education I, which provides for work both in Early Childhood Education and in the Early Years of Elementary Education.
Among the 35 professionals who presented themselves and started the nomination process, teacher Mileny Ribeiro Mônego, 31, is eager to take the position. “We’ve heard a lot about the Novo Hamburgo Municipal Education Network and that’s why I’m really looking forward to working here. I know a little about the Early Childhood Education proposal and I hope to be able to participate in the training as well”, says the teacher from Parobé.
