O Praia de Belas Shopping in Porto Alegre, 2023 starts with news, announcing the arrival of Nike and Pegada for the first half. In 2022, the development registered the arrival of 24 new operations to the portfolio. The news reinforced the mix in several segments.
Maria House
One of the last novelties of 2022 open to the public was Casa Maria (1st floor), destined for decoration products, handicrafts, household utilities and items for house maintenance and organization, which presents a new concept store model that is totally different from the ones you have in your portfolio. With 25 years of experience in the market, the chain now has 55 stores distributed in 27 cities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. With this, Praia de Belas complements its house mix, which already has Tok & Stok, Camicado, Artex, M.Martan and Multicoisas.
Another relevant novelty in 2022 was the opening of Reserva (2nd floor), a men’s clothing brand with over 18 years of experience in the national market. At the Mall, in addition to the mix of men’s clothing, children’s items and accessories are also an attraction.
Other novelties that are open to the public are Cotton On (3rd floor), an outstanding network of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessories and belonging to the Cotton On Group, Australia’s largest global retail chain, with more than 1,500 stores in 18 countries ; the Ophicina (2nd floor), which since 1996 has been offering footwear, caps and accessories from the best Surf and Streetwear brands; and Zinzane (1st Floor), a women’s brand that was born in 2002 in Rio de Janeiro and currently has over 160 own stores.
Other highlights were Life By Vivara (2nd floor), which complements Vivara’s operation on the 1st floor, footwear companies Bottero and Democrata, and in terms of food, The Coffee, which brought a concept store with special seating, and the Argentine Dulce de Leche.

These innovations are added to the various operations that opened at Praia de Belas Shopping throughout 2022: Giraffas, Studio Games, Via Laser, Colcci, , Florybal, Matriz, Mr. Cat, Lindt, Tim and Laços de Cecilia. Other contracts signed in 2022 and which should open in early 2023 are the expansion of Lupo, Cheirin Bão, Restora Phones Expert, Bullguer, in addition to two important novelties: Nike, which brings a concept store to the 2nd floor, next to the Madero Restaurant, and Footwear company Pegada.
“In 2022, we had 24 new store contracts signed and we returned with important actions and events, such as Monet, Fidget Toys, Play-Doh, Pet Day and Gastronomic Festival, in addition to many promotions and social actions, a trademark of Praia de Belas . For 2023, we will continue on this path, bringing even more news and exclusive experiences to our customers”, concludes Ângela.
