The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT) 2022-2023, valid until June 30, establishes for the first semester that the presence of employees can occur on holidays, except Labor Day.
Trade can now be scheduled to serve customers with the presence of employees on four dates in the first half of 2023, a guarantee established by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT) 2022-2023, in the cities of Caxias do Sul, Flores da Cunha, Nova Pádua and São Marcos.
CCT Sundays and Holidays guarantees the service of trade with employees on the next four holidays: April 7th (Friday) – Passion of Christ or Good Friday, April 21st (Friday) – Tiradentes, May 26th (Friday) Our Lady of Caravaggio and June 8th (Thursday) – Corpus Christi.
Still about the first semester, it is worth remembering that Carnival is not considered a holiday. On the 1st of May (Monday), Labor Day, retailers will only be able to count on service from owners if they choose to open the establishment.
The agreement signed by Sindilojas Caxias, involving the cities of its territorial base, with the labor union is valid until June 30th, that is, from July 1st, holidays will be on the agenda of retail wage negotiations: “Holidays on working days can mean a sales opportunity and bring a positive impact to the city”, declares the president of Sindilojas Caxias, Rossano Boff. After all, open-door commerce brings the prospect of increased sales, benefiting consumers, merchants and employees.
