In Nova Petrópolis, walks are among the highlights of the summer schedule at Jardim da Serra Gaúcha. The 2023 edition of the event will take place from January 20th to March 26th and will offer nine walking and/or trail activities, involving different modalities and in various parts of the Municipality. All options are already open for registration with their organizers.
According to the secretary of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of Nova Petrópolis, Rodrigo Santos, the walks attract more and more visitors to Nova Petrópolis.
Of the nine walks that will be part of the official program, five will be organized by the Tchon Ji Association: Summer Walk (01/22); Walk of the 48th Fig Festival (04/02); Hike Pinhal Alto/Santa Inês (19/02); Hike Pinhal Alto/Torre de Informação (05/03) and Hike Line Olinda/Arroio Paixão (19/03).
There will also be activities in the Caminhos Germânicos region: the Children’s Summer Trail with mud bath, on February 12th, and the Super Trail – from Malakoff to Panelão, on March 25th. Another highlight is the return of Desbravando Nova Petrópolis, which will take place on March 11th. And on March 12, Nova Petrópolis hosts the Photographic Walk of the Romantic Route.
