Porto Alegre/RS – The Ateliê dos Arteiros do 25 has prepared a special program for the summer. Until February, children from 6 years old and teenagers between 10 and 14 years old can participate in reading and creative writing workshops and artistic activities that develop expression, creativity and learning the basic notions of drawing, painting and collage.
Taught by the visual artist and poet Anelore Schumann, classes can be followed in virtual format or in person, at Centro Cultural 25 de Julho de Porto Alegre (Rua Germano Petersen Júnior, 250), with times available on Mondays, at 2 pm or at 4:30 pm; on Wednesdays at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm; and on Saturdays at 10:30 am. In interactive meetings, Anelore provides a space for artistic expression for the creation of landscapes, cities, characters, imaginary beings and other topics of interest to children, and also presents poetry by Cecília Meireles, in addition to showing works by painters such as Anita Malfatti, Tarsila by Amaral, Hundertwasser and several other modern and contemporary artists.
Lasting two hours each, the workshops are held weekly (costing BRL 320 a month) and can also be scheduled separately (a package worth BRL 180 for two classes). The registration fee includes all materials used in class. There are discounts for daughters and sons of cultural professionals, descendants of black, brown, indigenous, people with disabilities (PCD) and LGBTQIA+ and also for those who enroll and bring a friend or brother.
about the minister
Anelore Schumann is the creator and coordinator of the Ateliê dos Arteiros project since 2010 and coordinator of the Ateliê dos Arteiros project on 25 de Julho. She took courses in drawing and painting at the Ateliê Livre da Prefecture from 1986 to 1990 and poetic painting in 2007 and 2008 at the Cero Group in Porto Alegre. A member of the Escola de Poesia since 2003, she published poems in the magazine Ovo da Ema (zero, 1, 2 and 4) and wrote Vestígios de Kairós, her first poetry book, published in 2017.
As of 2010, he coordinated art workshops for children and teenagers at Ateliê Oca and other cultural spaces. He held more than 15 exhibitions, including Exhibitions of paintings and drawings from the Ateliê dos Arteiros Art Workshops (2011/2018), Mario Quintana 110 years (2016) and Exhibition of Paintings from the Ateliê dos Arteiros – Gatos e Paisagens, in the Center Cultural July 25 (2019). She is also the creator of the project A História Sem Fim, based on the book of the same name by writer Michael Ende, and curator of the Ateliê dos Arteiros Virtual Exhibition (2020).
