The Marchand brewery that will be at the Craf Beer Festival, which will take place from January 12th to 14th, at Expocentro, in Balneário Camboriú, won only in 2022, 6 medals, 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze in the international contest Brasil Beer Cup and in the Brazilian Beer Contest (CBC).
All award-winning beers will be present at the festival, including the multi-award winning one: Howling Cajá, Ipa with the addition of Cajá, which was bronze at CBC 22 and gold at Brasil Beer Cup 22.
This beer was designed by Marchand in conjunction with Jim Cibak (master brewer at Revolution Brewing, the largest craft brewery in Chicago and one of the largest in the USA), and Tim Mason (current master brewer at Reckless Ales, and former master brewer at Lagunitas in Petaluma, California).
The idea was to design a recipe that could unite the strengths of the American school and the Brazilian school, and they created an American IPA with a very complex hopping, for this they used the knowledge of the master brewers of Marchand, in the use of tropical fruits in beers .
At the Craft Beer Festival there will be 24 craft breweries from Santa Catarina, 16 food trucks, entertainment by 10 bands and DJs, a vinyl and handicraft fair, flash tattoos and about 400 m2 of kids area with monitors to keep dads at ease. Tickets through the Ingresso Nacional website.
