The regional Civil Police delegate, Luciano Fernandes Menezes, participated in the assembly and explained the actions of the State Government in the region and explained that the situation was very complicated and required joint efforts to, initially, save lives at risk.
“The second step, now, is to rebuild the affected areas. The logistics area was greatly affected and it will take time for many cities to recover. A continuous union of efforts is needed, from all levels, in order to get people’s lives back on track,” he said.
Calamity
President Ricardo Fernando Bartz took stock of the actions taken jointly by the entity together with the RS Retail Federation, which held an emergency meeting last week in Santa Cruz do Sul, of the RS Retail Federation together with the National Confederation of Managers Shopkeepers (CNDL) to assess the effects of the calamity in the State and discuss actions to aid commerce, retail and services.
Ricardo explained that CNDL is carrying out a national campaign and engaging all states, via PIX, where the resources raised will be used as emergency income, or direct injection into local retail.
