The reconstruction of Rio Grande do Sul, after the climate tragedy that devastates the state, will not be easy or quick. And to support the population, many private initiatives are being developed – among them is that of Max Mohr, a company from Santa Catarina specializing in solutions for civil construction, which, in addition to collecting and sending donations, is opening vacancies with special benefits for professionals from Rio Grande do Sul.
The company has job opportunities for concrete mixer drivers in Itajaí, Piçarras, Blumenau and Porto Belo, and pump operators in Itajaí and Porto Belo. Professionals coming from Rio Grande do Sul, who were affected by the floods, will have housing assistance for up to six months, so that they can start their lives again in Santa Catarina or even have support in a transition period until they can return to the state.
Cristian Mohr, CEO of Max Mohr, highlights that the initiative aims to expand opportunities, as many families have nowhere else to return. “The moment is one of unity and support and I believe that simple initiatives can make a big difference in the lives of these professionals. It is time for, whoever can, to create actions that can, in some way, reduce the current and long-term impact of this tragedy that we are experiencing”, he says.
To sign up for vacancies, professionals must contact the company by email [email protected] or by phone (47) 99119-7683. The vacancies are also intended for people with disabilities and can be filled by professionals of any gender. It is important to have experience driving heavy vehicles and a C driver’s license.
