The São Camilo de Esteio Public Health Foundation – FSPSCE (Hospital São Camilo) carried out, last Saturday (27), a joint effort for trauma surgeries, demands arising through the Assistir RS Program.
Of the 12 scheduled surgeries, 11 were performed. One had to be postponed for clinical reasons.
The sequence of the traumatology effort should be carried out on May 18th. On the 20th, São Camilo held the first stage of the pediatric surgery effort, with six procedures performed. A date to continue the action will be scheduled.
“This initiative is important to reduce the waiting list for traumatology and other specialties. This helps patients with their quality of life and the Hospital will adopt, whenever necessary, measures in this regard to improve user assistance”, highlights the general director of FSPSCE, Ana Boll.
Hospital São Camilo is a reference in the specialty of traumatology-orthopedics, serving, in addition to Esteio, patients from the municipalities of Brochier, Capela de Santana, Cachoeirinha, Maratá, Pareci Novo, São José do Sul and Tabaí.
In the specialty of pediatric surgeries, residents of Barão, Harmonia, Montenegro, Salvador do Sul, São Pedro da Serra, São Sebastião do Caí, Triunfo and Tupandi are also served.
