The Feira do Peixe Vivo de Lajeado holds its special Easter edition from March 26th to 28th, from 9am to 6pm, and on Good Friday, March 29th, from 9am to 11:30am, or while fish are available. The event is organized by Lajeado city hall and Emater/RS-Ascar.
The activity takes place next to the Rural Producer’s Fair, next to Professor Theobaldo Dick Park. The Sério Fish Farmers Association sells fish. This year grass carp, Hungarian carp, silver carp and bighead carp will be sold.
Emater/RS-Ascar extension worker Andréia Binz Tonin highlights that the fair is an opportunity to bring fish farmers and the general public closer together to purchase fresh fish. Andréia also explains that fish farmers receive technical assistance throughout the year from Emater/RS-Ascar, in partnership with the State Government.
The activity takes place monthly in Lajeado. For more information, call (51) 99727-8633 or (51) 3982-1031.
