Ingredients:
Massa
- 1/2 kg of Traditional Isabela Wheat Flour (without yeast)
- 6 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
- 300 ml of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Filling
- 200 g of grated mozzarella
- 20 sliced cherry tomatoes
- Oregano to taste
Preparation mode:
Preheat the oven to 250°C and grease a large baking tray. In a bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder. Then add the margarine and mix everything with your hands until it turns into crumbs. Then add the milk, salt and pepper, mixing until it forms a dough that does not stick to your hands.
Make balls the size of your esfihas. Roll each ball into a circle leaving the edges higher. Stuff with mozzarella, tomato and oregano. Bake for 10 minutes in the oven. Makes 20 esfihas.
