Imbé will be the stage, on April 6th, for the Tribos Unidas meeting, a major event supported by Imbé City Hall and the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism, Sports and Culture (SETURDEC).
This meeting, already traditional, hopes to bring together enthusiasts and groups of admirers of Beetles and other air-cooled vehicles for a lively trip to the coast of Rio Grande do Sul. The gathering of Beetles, kombis and similar vehicles will take place at Posto Graal in Gravataí, on the Route 80 Freeway, starting at 7 a.m., and departure is scheduled for 9 a.m. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) will escort the convoy, maintaining an average speed between 60 and 80 km/h.
In Imbé, participants will meet in the public area of Rua São Borja, close to the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education (EMEI) Jardelino Peroni, in the city center. During the day, the traditional Flea Market will take place, where it will be possible to buy and sell antique pieces, clothes and other items related to the world of classic cars.
The Tribos event is recognized and takes place driven by passion for the cause, without the need for association or payment of fees. It is only necessary to have an air-cooled vehicle (air-cooled VW) in good condition, with up-to-date documentation, capable of traveling on the Freeway and in compliance with PRF safety standards. If these requirements are met, interested parties can go to the Graal Post in their cars and participate in the meeting.
