Isabel Marant showed her winter 2024 collection this Thursday (29), in Paris. Fringes, animal print, earthy tones, fluid silhouette and the traditional western boot marked this season for the Isabel Marant woman.
In the realm of strong women dressed in layers of knits, leather and shearlings, an extreme version of Isabel’s silhouette emerges – an exploration of the brand’s style adapted to the season’s climate.
Fabrics and suedes in sun-burnt tones and the imposing jeweled belts that cinch the waist or adorn western boots evoke a desire to travel and explore the world, inspired by vast plains and desert horizons.
The gaucho spirit, also adopted by the Isabel Marant boys, is accentuated by the introduction of animal prints and cascading fringes on the sleeves. Large suede scarves are perforated, studded and embroidered with pearls – testaments to dedication to craftsmanship.
The color palette features shades such as camel, sand, ice and black. A neon red electrifies the collection, narrating the restless nature of the Isabel Marant woman. This energy reverberates in the fiery ripples of the Hispanic-inspired soundtrack.
A sensual and desirable atmosphere is made of fluid and luxurious fabrics wrapped around the hips and waist. Intertwined like the collection’s intricate knits, lurex nightdresses meet metal bracelets and flexible buttons adorned with rhinestones.
