Praça Rio Grande Shopping, in partnership with Grupo Garagem do Botão – Ferroviários, Association of Railway Employees of Rio Grande, will dedicate the weekend to Futebol de Botão.
In honor of Rio Grande’s 287th birthday, the “1st Praça Button Football Tournament” will bring together 16 professional sports athletes competing for the title, this Saturday and Sunday, 17th and 18th, starting at 2pm.
This Friday, the 16th, customers will be able to learn more about the sport, receive tips from athletes and take risks in the sport, with tables and materials available to the public.
“This is an opportunity for us to show the community that the practice of Button Football still exists. The shopping environment will encourage children to learn about the sport, awakening their curiosity and developing their strategy and attention”, highlighted Fábio Lopes Souza, organizer of the event.
