The 1st stage of the Gaucho Master Surf Circuit takes place in Imbé on the 24th and 25th of February. The event is part of the Imbé Surf Festival and is carried out by the Gaúcha Surf Federation (FGS) and the Imbé and Balneários Surfing Association (ASIB) with support from the Imbé City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism, Sports and Culture (SETURDEC ).
On Saturday (24) ECOIMBÉ activities are planned throughout the day, as well as a DJ to rock the sands. On Sunday (25), the championship finals will take place.
Registrations
Registration is open at a cost of R$ 130.00 for ASIB members and R$ 150 for non-members until February 21st. After the batteries are announced, the price will be R$150 for members and R$170 for non-members. Registration in the local category has a single cost of R$100. Places are limited and there are no reservations without sending proof of payment.
Registrations must be made to the Gaucha Surfing Federation account, using the PIX key 88968896000148 (CNPJ) and sending proof to (51) 99968-5817, which can also be used for queries.
Categories
The categories are divided into the following categories:
• OPEN – No age limits;
• MASTER 35+ – For those born until 12/31/1988;
• GRAN MASTER 40+ – For those born until 12/31/1983;
• KAHUNA 45 + – For those born until 12/31/1978;
• GRAN KAHUNA 50+ – For those born until 12/31/1973;
• LEGENDS 55+ – For those born until 12/31/1968;
• LONGBOARD – No age limits;
• LOCATION – For ASIB athlete.
