Nickelodeon’s new live-action series, The Richest Boy in the World, premieres this Monday, February 19th, at 11:50 am. The production is an adaptation of “João, The Richest Boy in the World”, a book by Xá (Francisco Abreu). There will be two episodes per day, from Monday to Friday, at 11:50 am on Nickelodeon.
The Richest Boy in the World is a charming series that brings João’s perspective on the issues that arise in his path, as well as showing the way he sees the world and deals with all the challenges. The story follows his adventures alongside his inseparable friends Tina and Gael, in the peaceful Vila dos Bem-te-vis. In the midst of games, the trio faces situations that reveal the importance of friendship, creativity and solidarity.
Episodes
In 26 episodes, the series shows how to give new meaning to difficulties, such as the loss of João’s grandfather, and brings up important themes in a playful way. In addition to addressing book recycling, the production also shows how to recycle love, looking at others, friendship and relationships.
The cast features Heitor Silva as João, Helena Bougleux as Tina and Enzo Rosetti as Gael. Together, the three give life to the trio of friends in the story. In addition to them, the cast also includes: Yohana Back, Tásia d’Paula, Jully Rocha, Vinícius Domingues, Carlos Mariano and Rai Teichimam.
