At the heart of the National Grape Festival 2024, the Caxias do Sul Municipal Wind Orchestra stands out with its performance “Sons da Nossa Terra”, scheduled for February 25th at 3pm. The event will take place on the main stage of pavilion 2, close to the Tulipa restaurant, promising a memorable afternoon. The orchestra, known for its ability to bring classical and contemporary music to life, has selected a repertoire that includes folk melodies, film scores and regional classics, celebrating the cultural richness of music.
Under the experienced baton of maestro Gilberto Salvagni, the program unfolds in a series of acclaimed pieces such as “Capriccio Italien”, “Danças Gaúchas” and “La Vita è Bella”. Popular classics such as “Tarantella Napolitana”, “Tritsh Tratsh Polka” and “Funiculi Funiculá” are also on the list. The show is enriched by the presence of talented soloists: soprano Karina Dante, accordionist Rafael De Boni and lyrical tenor Maicon Cassânego, each bringing their unique style to the stage.
With a cast of 35 versatile musicians, the Orquestra Municipal de Sopros de Caxias do Sul is not limited to a single style, performing in varied formations, including symphonic band, big band, woodwind orchestra and chamber ensembles, always seeking to enchant and connect with your audience.
