The Iberê Foundation and the Rio Grande do Sul Art Museum – MARGS open the exhibition Carlos Vergara: Poética da Exuberância on Saturday (24). Curated by Luiz Camillo Osorio (RJ), the exhibition will take place simultaneously in both institutions.
The exhibitions will bring together, on the second floor of the Foundation, 69 works, with emphasis on drawings and paintings on paper, never exhibited from the 1960s, produced when Vergara was Iberê Camargo’s assistant in Rio de Janeiro, and another 19 in two rooms at MARGS .

Opening at MARGS: 11am, followed by a guided tour by the curator and artist
Opening at Fundação Iberê: 2pm | At 4pm, there will be a conversation with artists in the auditorium

Visitation at MARGS: Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 7pm (last access at 6pm), always with free entry. MARGS also offers mediated visits to the exhibitions to the public, by scheduling an appointment via the e-mail [email protected]. Technical visits to the Museum are also offered upon prior request and evaluation.
Visitation at Fundação Iberê: Wednesday to Sunday, from 2pm to 6:30pm (last access at 6:30pm). On Thursdays, entry is free, and from Friday to Sunday, tickets cost between R$10 and R$30.
