After the success of its debut in Porto Alegre last November, the Turá festival now has dates to return to the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. The event that celebrates the culture and essence of our country with lots of music, gastronomy and various other events will return to the Pôr do Sol Amphitheater on May 25th and 26th.
Organized by Time For Fun and Maia Entretenimento, the project will promote another weekend full of Brazilianness, affection and meetings and reunions on and below the stage. There will be two days of great openness, culture, mixing and reinterpretation, the four pillars that define Turá, packed with a 100% national line-up, which includes everything from the most traditional to the most current names in our music.
“Turá was born to stir the emotional memory of Brazilians, bringing together artists from different styles and times. We are very happy that the public in Porto Alegre liked this mix so much that they asked us to come back”, highlights Francesca Alterio, marketing director at T4F.
“Turá embraced our capital, and we saw that the public in Rio Grande do Sul also embraced Turá. The festival is definitely here to stay, and we are excited to announce the attractions that will experience this celebration with us”, adds Gustavo Sirotsky, director of Maia Entretenimento.
Just like its debut, in 2023, Turá will maintain its commitment to the city and the environment, working alongside institutions that work in environmental preservation and conservation. The return of the event to the Pôr do Sol Amphitheater will, once again, be guided by Porto Alegre City Hall, through SMAMUS – Municipal Secretariat for the Environment, Urbanism and Sustainability – which approved all the necessary operations to hold the festival. . “In this edition, we will carry out a second environmental monitoring test to understand how the area behaves when hosting major events, continuing with the same technical responsibility as last year and with all the necessary care and monitoring to maintain the existing fauna and flora” , says Germano Bremm, municipal secretary for the Environment, Urbanism and Sustainability.
