Caxias do Sul will host World Creativity Day 2024 with several free activities on April 21st, at Pátio da Estação. World Creativity Day is organized by the World Creativity Organization and features countless experiences, panels, lectures, workshops and performances for professionals, entrepreneurs and companies from all sectors that make up the creative economy.
In this edition, the event also takes place in 51 other Brazilian municipalities, simultaneously. The objective is to unite the creativity and innovation ecosystem of different cities, focusing on sustainable development. “Our purpose is to raise awareness around the world about the value of creativity as a raw material for solving problems, inspiring people to build innovative projects, cities and businesses, positively impacting communities”, says Lucas Foster, creator of the initiative and executive director of the Organization World of Creativity.
With the theme “Plural Intelligences”, the 2024 edition expands the discussion between public authorities, private initiatives and civil society about the different intelligences and how creativity is inserted in this context. “The creative revolution that we stimulate in each city seeks to promote the strengthening of a creative community committed to innovation and its real impacts, collaborating in networks to generate positive impacts on ecosystems within the framework of sustainability”, says Luiz Serafim, executive director of World Creativity Day.
In Caxias do Sul, the local leader of World Creativity Day is Patrícia Janczak, Business and Innovation Strategist, Startup Consultant and Leader Developer for the New Economy. “Being approved by the World Creativity Organization to bring World Creativity Day to Caxias do Sul is a great source of pride, but it only makes sense if we have the support of volunteers, hosts, inspirers and partners from our region who help transform this day in an unforgettable event”, calls Patrícia Janczak.
