The University of Caxias do Sul – UCS offers vacancies through the National Basic Education Teacher Training Program (PARFOR) for Teacher Trainer I and II at the Headquarters Campus, in Caxias do Sul, and at the Nova Prata University Campus. Registration can be made until February 16th at this link. Classifieds will be announced on February 27th, with classes starting on March 4th.
The National Program for Training Teachers in Basic Education, from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), contributes to the adequacy of the initial training of teachers in service in the public Basic Education network through the offering of corresponding degree courses to the area in which they operate.
The complementary notice for filling remaining vacancies published by UCS on January 26th is in accordance with Capes notice (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) no. 8/2022. The vacancies are intended for the Pedagogy 1st Degree Course – In-person/Headquarters Campus and University Campus of Nova Prata and the 2nd Degree Course – Distance Learning: Physics.
The selection for Teacher Trainer I and II will be by discipline and will occur through the analysis of qualifications, academic experience and proven teaching. The classification will be in descending order, observing the sum of the points obtained and in accordance with the following sequence: a) professor on the UCS permanent staff in effective exercise; b) effective teacher of Basic Education, at a public school – municipal or state.
