With the aim of highlighting the importance of public literacy policies, as well as providing a comprehensive view of learning processes, teaching strategies and crucial elements for the cognitive and socio-emotional development of students, the Ayrton Senna Institute offers a free online course, with certificate , About the subject.
The course is based on the concept of “360° Literacy”, which represents a comprehensive approach to understanding the complexity of this fundamental process. By covering topics such as mathematical language, mother tongue, scientific language, artistic language, digital language and body language, the online track offers an integrated vision that transcends the traditional limits of cognitive literacy.
Based on this concept, educators across the country can have access to the Literacy Trail, through the Humane platform, a free digital environment that offers integral development and training journeys for educators, based on scientific evidence and knowledge accumulated over decades of performance. The trail has a set of content for educators about literacy, from its history in Brazil to socio-emotional development throughout the process. Divided into modules and created by experts in each topic, the Trail is free, online and with a certificate from the institution.
“Literacy is an essential process for the full development of children, as it contributes significantly to the entire educational and social process throughout life. Making this trail available for free to all corners of Brazil is part of our effort to value and promote comprehensive education”, says Cinara Moura, product marketing and Customer Success manager at Instituto Ayrton Senna.
The Literacy Track has four modules:

This exploration allows for a deeper understanding of the educational practices that shape student development.
Mathematical literacy: Mathematical literacy receives special attention in this module. It explores ways to enhance the learning process to enable students to use mathematical language in a meaningful way in their everyday lives.
Comprehensive Education in the initial years: module 4 highlights the importance of comprehensive education in the early years, considering the student’s full training and promoting socio-emotional development from the beginning of their educational path.
