Mother and daughter died of heart-related causes, just a few hours apart, in the city of Guarabira, in Brejo da Paraíba. Former councilors of the municipality, the deaths were confirmed this Tuesday (23).
Ana Maria Lima da Silva, aged 51, and Maria das Neves Lima da Silva, aged 78, died of a heart attack. The wakes will take place at Guarabira City Hall, this Wednesday (24).
According to family members, help was called to assist Ana Maria – found unconscious at home. However, her mother, Dona Maria, upon learning the information fell ill and was taken to the hospital. Both, however, did not resist.
The city hall of Guarabira expressed regret. “With great sadness, we sympathize with the bereaved friends, family and relatives,” he said.
The burial is scheduled to take place at 4pm this Wednesday, at the Guarabira municipal cemetery.
