In the same period last year, the price of the fruit was R$8.63/kg, according to the Economy and Development Section (SEDES).
It is worth remembering that dragon fruit is an antioxidant fruit that helps with cell function and renewal.
Furthermore, due to its fatty acids, the omega 3 in its seeds and because it contains iron, it helps with cardiovascular health and is good for combating anemia.

As it is a tropical fruit, it is recommended to eat it in this heat. It can be whipped with milk, skimmed milk or lactose-free milk. Adding dragon fruit to a smoothie is also an option.
