Transfers
Early Childhood Education transfers, whether from daycare or preschool, take place from March 1st, via City Hall website. Transfers from elementary schools from the 2nd to the 9th year, whether between municipal and/or state units, take place in a unified enrollment center, through the State system, at the link https://educacao.rs.gov.bruntil January 17th.
Director of Pedagogical Support Gisele Bervig explains that registration is always open for nurseries and pre-schools, for Kindergarten 1 and 2, aged between 4 and 5 years old. At any time, those responsible can contact the Vacancies Center, in person, at the Department of Education (Rua Monte Castelo, 340, Nossa Senhora das Graças neighborhood), for the appropriate referrals. “We made a call at the beginning of January to be referred to a daycare center, due to the last draw. Now, depending on demand, there will be another draw starting in May”, she emphasizes.
