PFor its first time as an exhibitor, Uultis, a high-end furniture brand from the Herval Group (Dois Irmãos/RS), will participate in IMM Cologne, one of the most traditional fairs in the furniture sector, at the Koelnmesse exhibition center, in Cologne, Germany . From January 14th to 18th, visitors from all over the world will be able to see pieces from Uultis, recognized for furniture that combines the delicacy of artisanal finishing and natural textures with the high technology and production capacity of Herval, a company with a large manufacturing structure and experience of more 60 years in furniture production. Uultis’ participation in the event will take place through the Brazilian Furniture Project, promoted by Abimóvel and Apex-Brasil, in Hall 10, F-004 and H-003.
Last year, the brand was present at the event only through the Buyer Project of the Brazilian Furniture Sector Project, an initiative by Abimóvel and Apex-Brasil. “Due to the positive results, we decided to return as exhibitors this year”, highlights Agnelo Seger, president of Grupo Herval. “Through this new participation model, we seek to prospect the Uultis brand in Europe. This initiative is in addition to our presence at the Salone del Mobile, in Milan, Italy, which we have already participated in for five years”, he adds. Seger also talks about Uultis’ relationship with the European market. “It is an extremely important market for the brand, as our furniture is contemporary and with distinctive Italian style and lines,” he says.
At IMM Cologne, Uultis will bring a selection of impressive pieces, seeking to showcase the brand’s design potential, in addition to the variety of categories and materials to reinforce the diversity of operations in all segments of the furniture sector. “A major differentiator of Uultis products is the Brazilian design, which mixes natural wood with other materials such as metal, straw, fabric, leather and, despite using high technology, it also uses specialized labor for artisanal details”, details Seger. Furthermore, the president explains that Teak wood, normally used for exterior design, attracts attention when presented at international fairs, in interior products.
Among the Uultis furniture that can be seen at IMM are: Dolomites Dining Table, the Velo Armchair, the Duomo Mirrors and the Laguna Armchair. The latter is the result of an unprecedented partnership with product designer Aciole Félix, being awarded in the Gold category, at the A’Design Award 2023. The piece refers to nature and elements of modern architecture, mixing different materials, such as wood, fabric, metal and natural straw. The Dolomitas Dining Table is designed by Studio+A! and features an iconic design based on solid wood, inspired by the famous Dolomites region, a chain of rocky mountains in northern Italy, recognized by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) as a world heritage site.

In Europe, we sell to Greece, Spain, England and Portugal, countries in which we also have an importer/distributor”, details Seger.
