The Chamber of Shopkeepers of Igrejinha and Três Coroas promoted activities that seek to revive the Christmas atmosphere and celebrate the date with joy and unity.
This year’s highlight was the musical theater shows held in partnership with Sicoob MaxiCrédito. On the 11th, the Mayor Selson Flesch Events Center hosted the musical piece Natal de Galpão. In the show, the workers meet in a warehouse on Christmas Eve and celebrate the date with songs and playing the harmonica, telling Christmas stories that inhabit the pampas of Rio Grande do Sul, from the birth of the baby Jesus, the story of Mary’s little mule, the Miguel who wanted to lasso a star, among others. The show enchanted, moved and entertained through lively forms, dances inspired by circus acts and accordion playing.
The following day, Sociedade Recreativa 12 de Janeiro, in Sander, Três Coroas, hosted the musical theater Presente Extraordinário. Filled with emotion, fun and inspiring messages, the play tells an enchanting story that reminds you that the true meaning of Christmas is being present, sharing special moments and spreading joy to those you love. The show is performed with beautiful songs performed live.
As is already traditional, Santa Claus’s Sleigh, with music and lights, traveled through the neighborhoods of Igrejinha and Três Coroas, enchanting not only children, but adults as well.
“For commerce in general, Christmas is one of the most important dates on the calendar, as it is the time when commerce boosts its sales. This is where we can take some action to give back to our community. We thought about bringing something alluding to Christmas, making people mobilize for this season, decorating their homes, getting together with their families, we always want to remember the Christmas spirit through our actions”, says the president of CDL de Igrejinha and Three Crowns, Natália Debarba.
