On Thursday (21), the Summer Fair starts in Torres, at Praça Borges de Medeiros, in Prainha. The Fair will have a covered structure and will take place from 4pm to 10pm, with the participation of around 35 exhibitors. On the first night of the Fair, the initiative will have a show with Grupo Legado Gaúcho, at 7pm.
Crochet, knitting items. felt crafts, t-shirts, bags, wood, soaps, keychains, paintings, handmade cosmetics, therapeutic candles, macramé, lots of colorful balloons, family farming products and others will be found from January onwards. The Summer Fair will run from Thursday to Sunday, at the same time until March 15th, and items from rural producers will be offered from Friday to Sunday. Bread, cookies, jams, seasonings and much more will be sold.
Christmas and New Year
Due to the end of year festivities, the first editions of the Fair will have special operations. On the opening weekend, the Fair will be open on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd, due to Christmas. And due to New Year’s Eve, at the end of the week of 2023, the Fair will be held on the 28th, 29th and 30th, also from Thursday to Saturday.
With the aim of promoting local production, enhancing the municipality’s tourist identity, the Fair, which will take place on the seafront during the season, should return to its traditional location after March 15th. in the space close to Casa da Terra e Artesanato (Avenida Barão do Rio Branco and Rua General Osório). It is carried out by the City Hall, through the Secretariat of Labor, Industry and Commerce, in partnership with the Secretariat of Rural Development and Fisheries and the Secretariat of Culture and Sport.
