In Caxias do Sul, Magia dos Encontros do Natal 2023 has an intense program this weekend. On Friday (15), there will be storytelling at Ana Rech, a magic show with Mateus Di Macedo, Santa Claus’s pickup truck touring some neighborhoods of the city, and the Christmas Special with Tita and Rafa.
On Saturday (16), in addition to storytelling, there will be a Solidarity Christmas – O Auto dos Gorros Bobos with Cia. Espicula, a presentation by the Caxias do Sul Municipal Choir, a Boas Novas show with Tatiéli Bueno and Fran Duarte in Ana Rech, and a musical Christmas Eve in Dante Alighieri Square.
On Sunday (17), the Christmas Party will be in the Fátima Region. There will also be a performance by the Municipal Choir, and storytelling with Vera Seco. In addition, Advent Season – Ecumenical Celebration, alluding to the 800th anniversary of the 1st nativity scene, mass sung with the Unimed Choir, Christmas Nativity Scene – Espaço Musicar and Valdir Verona.
This year’s program also alludes to the 800th anniversary of the first nativity scene set up in 1223 by Saint Francis of Assisi. This is a partnership between Tua Rádio São Francisco and Rede Maisnova, with the City of Caxias do Sul.
Magia dos Encontros is organized by the City Hall through the Municipal Department of Culture. It has master sponsorship from Luz de Caxias do Sul, sponsorship from Banrisul and Sicredi Pioneira. It has the support of Exacta and CDL Caxias. Its partners are Sesc Caxias, Association of Friends of the Municipal Center of Culture Dr. Henrique Ordovás Filho (AAMOR), Pisani and Infront Mídia. The official radio is UCS FM. The event also features a cultural project financed by Pró-Cultura RS, from the Secretariat of Culture of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, whose cultural entrepreneur is Cali Gestão Cultural e Comunicação, and as sponsors: Magnabosco, Cardan, Urca, Saccaro and Andreazza Supermarkets.
