The 2024 cycle of the Creole horse has already started and with it the expectation of what the selective trials will be like that will take the best animals and top riders to the finals. Golden Bridle, Expointer Morphology, Young and Owner Brake and its Supercups, Golden Inclusion, Golden Doma, Golden Reins, Endurance March, Campereada/Team Penning, Palleteada, Golden Reins, Vaquero/Cow Working Horse, Movimiento La Rienda, Enduro, Crioulaço and Ranch Sorting are part of the selective or sporting events that bring together the Creolist family, both in Rio Grande do Sul and in different states and even outside Brazil.
The success of the different modalities provided by the Brazilian Association of Crioulo Horse Breeders (ABCCC) was so notable in 2023 that the assessment of the entity’s president, César Hax, is that there was growth in real and absolute numbers. “Ending the year 2023, we consider it extremely positive for everything that happened, mainly due to the return of growth in all modalities in selective events, Marching, Braking, Morphology, with absolute numbers and positive growth in sports. Of the 14 modalities we have, 13 of them have grown in real and absolute numbers”, says the president.
César Hax cites the inauguration of the roof of the main and training tracks, at the Arena do Cavalo Crioulo in the Assis Brasil Exhibition Park, in Esteio (RS), as one of the highlights of the year. He also highlighted the holding of a general assembly where changes to the regulations were proposed, which were extremely positive, in his opinion, for the breed.
“So, for all this, I think we have a very positive year, obviously, which projects us to a 2024 that we have already started in our cycle, with a lot of responsibility to consolidate all that was done in 2023 and continue with the growth that is necessary and we need this to happen”, concludes the leader.
