The Alagoas brand Martha Medeiros presents two collections for the end of year season. With a focus on Christmas and High Summer, the lines come with pieces that bring the necessary elegance to various occasions during the period.
For the Christmas collection, the brand sought to innovate and brought models in mini length, as well as in the choice of fabrics, with materials that incorporate the necessary lightness of the period. Through a mix of textures with Guipure embroidery, lace and traditional Renaissance lace, pieces that are more structured to the body were created, which are, at the same time, light and comfortable. Thin and light fabrics, such as taffeta, for example, were incorporated into the collection in order to bring a soft and less heavy touch to the productions.
The color palette inspired by traditional Christmas tones features bright red, avocado green and gold, which bring to life timeless party fashion dresses, skirts and tops. Cutouts and ruffles are some of the highlights, as well as monochromatic looks, which bring transparency to the details. The elegant and refined finish and the use of exclusive materials such as cotton trim, appear as a differentiator for the final delicacy of the pieces and sets.
The Resort collection focused on High Summer and the travel season has as its starting point the choice of a fresh color palette, with tones such as turquoise and off-white. In addition to sunset (salmon), which was listed by the brand as the big bet for the period and listed as the color of the year for 2024, by Pantone. Geometric mixtures are the highlight of the line, crafted from exclusive materials that bring a different texture to productions.
Models with slits and cutouts attract attention, as well as flowing looks with a mix of materials – the brand’s trademark. With different types of shapes, beach cover-ups and skirts were designed for all bodies and tastes. The dresses bring the delicacy of the season through the weaves and details, which results in a harmonious and perfect look for end-of-year celebrations on the beach.
