Canoas is holding this weekend, December 9th and 10th, two events that promise to entertain families in the end-of-year spirit. They are: the Animal Adoption Fair and the arrival of Santa Claus by helicopter in Capão do Corvo. Check out the details:
Adoption fair
Anyone thinking about adopting a pet will have the opportunity to choose a pet at the Adoption Fair organized by the Department of Animal Welfare (SMBEA) this Saturday (9), from 10am to 3pm, at the SMBEA headquarters, which is located in Avenida Boqueirão, 1986, in the Igara neighborhood.
For adoption, you must present a photo ID, proof of residence and answer an interview form. The questionnaire highlights the adopter’s interest and profile, whether the person has other animals and whether they live in a house or apartment.
Sports and Leisure Festival + Zen Meeting
On Sunday (10), another edition of the Canoas Sports and Leisure Festival (Fesla) takes place at Parque Municipal Getúlio Vargas, Capão do Corvo (Av. Dr. Sezefredo Azambuja Vieira, 700), in allusion to the 43rd anniversary of the location. There will be various activities and services from 9am. Entry is free, and Santa Claus’ helicopter descent, scheduled for 4:45 pm, promises to be the main attraction for children. Click here and see the complete schedule.
The 4th Canoas Zen Meeting is part of this edition of Fesla. The activity seeks to promote well-being, integration with nature, socialization and awareness of the need for health care and, consequently, improving quality of life.
