Taquara City Hall is holding this Saturday (9) the second edition of the Family Crafts and Agriculture Fair in December, from 9am to 5pm, on Rua Coberta, in the city center. By the Municipality, the event is organized in partnership between the Directorate of Culture and the Municipal Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development.
“Our fairs have become a Saturday tradition in Taquara, with many visitors to each edition, including residents of our municipality and also neighboring cities. We will have lots of new crafts, especially now that we are approaching Christmas, as well as delicious items from family farming”, highlights Mayor Sirlei Silveira. The event has the support of the Taquara Rural Workers Union, Casa do Artesão and Associação Mãos que Criam.

Among the items for sale, by Taquarense artisans, there are ornaments, gourds, soaps, plants, essences, and decorative objects in general. On the family farming side, there are products such as cakes, cucas, jellies, chimia, sausage, cheese, among various colonial items produced by farmers in the interior of Taquara.
For those who cannot attend this Saturday, the Crafts and Family Farming Fair will be held on December 16th and 23rd, from 8am to 5pm, on Rua Coberta, closing the end of year program.
