Registration is now open for the edition of Gerdau Transforma 2023, Gerdau’s training and mentoring program for entrepreneurship in partnership with Agência Besouro de Fomento Social, in Sapucaia do Sul (RS).
The classes are free and take place between the 4th and 8th of December, from 7pm to 10pm, aimed at inserting people in situations of social vulnerability into the job market through entrepreneurship, developing skills using management tools, which can thus opening or structuring their own businesses in an organized and guided way. You can register until December 3rd at project website people over 18 who already have a business or who dream of starting one.
Gerdau Transforma classes are taught by instructors trained in the By Necessity methodology, developed by Besouro de Fomento Social, and in the areas of Marketing and Administration who have their own businesses. The By Necessity methodology revisits the traditional business plan model and adapts it for small businesses in 10 steps. Based on the analysis of their context, the student goes through the construction of the concept of their product/service, promotional actions, market research, sales projections, cash flow, among other content. The action plan, at the end, details, in a simple and didactic way, what is necessary to generate immediate income.
Students will also have the support of specialized business consultants for 90 days, an incubation period so that they can put into practice everything they learned on the course. During this time, they will meet weekly with teachers through face-to-face meetings to answer questions and seek help in developing their ventures. Besouro de Fomento Social also creates a visual identity for each business, enabling advertising to begin.
